Each year the Marlborough Rotary Club is pleased to award scholarships to several area high school seniors to further their educations at institutions of higher learning.
The club awards these scholarships to Marlborough residents graduating from Marlborough High School, Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School (AVRTHS), and students who reside in Marlborough but attend another area secondary school.
Each candidate must be a senior graduating from high school in good standing and be accepted to a two- or four-year college.
In addition, the club awards a $250 grant to an AVRTHS graduate in vocational studies to use to buy the tools of his/her trade.
Applications must be completed and submitted by March 31.
Applications are available from the students’ respective high schools, directly from the Marlborough Rotary Club, P.O. Box 186, Marlborough, MA 01752, or through any Marlborough Rotarian.

Serving the youth of our community is a major component of the Marlborough Rotary Club’s service, and education is the keystone for the future of our young people” noted club president, Bonnie Doolin.
“Supporting our young people is in the best tradition of Rotary’s motto, ‘Service above Self’’.”
The Marlborough Rotary Club, which has been assisting the youth, charities and service agencies of the community since 1922, welcomes service-minded men and women for membership. For more information, contact any Marlborough Rotarian or call 508-509-6643.
